WE WILL ALSO ACCOMMODATE AS POSSIBLE, TRAVELERS FROM OUT OF THE REGION WHO WILL ONLY BE LOCAL WHEN THE MUSEUM IS NOT OTHERWISE SCHEDULED TO BE OPEN.

(Revised January 26, 2024 –jlb)

OPEN YEAR-‘ROUND
subject to winter weather and the travel and availability of our volunteer staff!

All  days of operation are “subject to volunteer availability”

During Cub Scout Summer Overnight Camp weeks (July 7 to  August 9, 2024), additional weekdays are added, as volunteer Museum staff is available:

The L. L. Lee Scouting Museum is staffed by a volunteer group of dedicated Scouters who collectively comprise hundreds of years of Scouting.  Our small number of docents, and limits to their available time, sometimes conflict with our scheduled operation.  To avoid any possibility of errant travel and disappointment, we recommend contacting the Museum’s Communications Director in advance, to verify that we will be open when you choose to visit.

Special arrangements can be made for private showings of the collection, upon request, if travelers are only going to be local during times when the Museum is not scheduled to be open.

PLEASE NOTE:  Hours are subject to change, without notice.  The scheduling of volunteer docent staff sometimes conflicts with their personal schedules.  We recommend verifying in advance that the museum will be open when you plan to visit.

MUSEUM direct phone: (603) 867-2501 (only answered live when Museum is open and staffed).

Please call Joe Biedrzycki, Director of Communications with any inquiries, at 603 582 8757.
