Hours of Operation

Please note: All days of operation are “subject to volunteer availability,” We recommend calling in advance to make sure the museum will be open when you plan to visit.

The L. L. Lee Scouting Museum is staffed by a volunteer group of dedicated Scouters who collectively comprise hundreds of years of Scouting. Our small number of docents, and limits to their available time, sometimes conflict with our scheduled operation. To avoid any possibility of errant travel and disappointment, we recommend contacting the Museum’s Communications Director in advance, to verify that we will be open when you choose to visit.

Requesting an on-demand visit

We will make every effort to schedule “on-demand” visits, by reservation only, for groups renting sites for weekend campouts year-round and for Daniel Webster Council Family Camping and Granite Base Camp Programs.

Out of State Visitors

We will also accommodate travelers from outside the region who will only be local at times when the Museum is not otherwise scheduled to be open, to the best of our ability. Special arrangements can be made for private showings of the collection, upon request, if travelers are only going to be local during times when the Museum is not scheduled to be open.
